Job Description:
- Evaluate Manuscripts: Assess manuscripts, posters, slide decks, educational material, and medical literature provided by clients to ensure data accuracy.
- Scientific Data Verification: Scrutinize documents developed by medical writers for scientific data errors by cross-referencing with annotated references, Clinical Study Reports (CSRs), and other source data.
- Quality Improvement Suggestions: Identify discrepancies within text, between figures/tables, and with supplementary material, and offer suggestions for enhancements.
- Gap Identification: Detect missing sources and gaps in scientific logic within documents.
- Language and Compliance Check: Review grammar, syntax, style, and adherence to style guides, regulatory guidelines, and publishing requirements.
- Quality Assurance: Take ownership of document/project quality through fact-checking and Quality Control (QC) processes.
- Client Communication: Effectively convey QC/fact-check findings to clients and medical writers.
- Reporting and Trend Analysis: Compile and deliver QC reports to stakeholders, highlighting quality trends.
- Timely Delivery: Ensure prompt delivery of documents/projects.
- Collaboration: Engage in proactive and effective communication with team members, authors/faculty, clients, and vendors.
- Professional Development: Attend workshops, seminars, and trainings to enhance skills and contribute to organizational growth.
Candidate Profile:
- Experience: Minimum 2 years in the medical writing industry; freshers with substantial knowledge of the publication landscape or clinical research are also eligible.
- Education: Master’s degree in Research or equivalent industry experience.
- Skills:
- Efficient multitasking and prioritization abilities.
- Meticulous attention to detail with zero tolerance for errors.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing project priorities and work assignments.
- Experience with Veeva Vault is advantageous.
