About NADA

The National Anti-Doping Agency (NADA) is an autonomous body under the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Government of India. NADA is responsible for promoting, coordinating, and monitoring the doping control program across all sports in India. With a mission to ensure fair play and ethical practices, NADA invites applications from qualified Indian citizens for key scientific positions on a deputation/absorption/re-employment/promotion basis.

🧪 Position 1: Scientific Director

• No. of Vacancies: 01

• Pay Level: Level 13 (₹1,23,100 – ₹2,15,900/-)

• Mode of Recruitment: Deputation (including short term contract) / Absorption / Promotion / Re-employment

Eligibility Criteria:

Deputation/Absorption:

• Officers from Central/State Governments, PSUs, Autonomous/Statutory Bodies, Universities, or Recognized Research Institutes

• Holding:

  • An analogous post on regular basis
    OR

  • 5 years regular service in Level 12 of Pay Matrix

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

• Ph.D. in Pharmacology / Biochemistry / Pharmaceutical Sciences / Sports Sciences

• 15 years of experience in technical administration/management/research in reputed organizations

Promotion Eligibility:

• Senior Project Officer or Senior Scientific Officer in Level 12 with 5 years of regular service

• Departmental candidates in the feeder grade will be considered along with others

Other Conditions:

• Maximum age limit for deputation: 56 years (as on the closing date of application)

• Maximum deputation tenure: 5 years

🧬 Position 2: Senior Scientific Officer

• No. of Vacancies: 01

• Pay Level: Level 12 (₹78,800 – ₹2,09,200/-)

• Mode of Recruitment: Deputation (including short term contract) / Absorption / Re-employment

Eligibility Criteria:

Deputation/Absorption:

• Officers from Central/State Governments, PSUs, Autonomous/Statutory Bodies, Universities, or Recognized Research Institutes

• Holding:

  • An analogous post on regular basis
    OR

  • 5 years regular service in Level 11 of Pay Matrix

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

• MD (Pharmacology) or Ph.D. in Pharmacology / Biochemistry / Pharmaceutical Sciences / Sports Sciences

• 10 years of relevant experience in administration, management, or scientific research

Other Conditions:

• Maximum age limit for deputation: 56 years (as on the closing date of application)

• Maximum deputation tenure: 5 years
