About ECHS

The ECHS (Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme) Central Organisation is located in Delhi and operates under the Chief of Staff Committee (COSC) through the Adjutant General (AG) and the Directorate General of Defence Estates (DGDC&W) within the Army Headquarters. The organisation is led by a Managing Director, who is a serving Major General.

The ECHS infrastructure comprises:

  • 28 Regional Centres
  • 426 ECHS Polyclinics

Additionally, the ECHS is an attached office of the Department of Ex-Servicemen Welfare (DoESW) within the Ministry of Defence (MoD). Other attached offices under the DoESW include the Directorate General Resettlement (DGR) and the Kendriya Sainik Board (KSB).

Job Opportunity: Pharmacist Position at ECHS Polyclinic Bhuj

Overview

The Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme (ECHS) is inviting applications for the position of Pharmacist on a contractual basis at ECHS Polyclinic Bhuj (Kutch). The initial contract is for one year, with the possibility of renewal for an additional year based on performance and other conditions.

  • Number of Posts: 01
  • Qualification: B.Pharma from a recognized institute with a minimum of three years of work experience.
  • Salary: Rs. 28,100/- per month
  • Preference: Given to ex-servicemen

Application Process

Interested candidates must submit their applications in the prescribed format available on the ECHS website. The application should include self-attested photocopies of educational qualifications and work experience.

Deadline: Applications must be received by 15 June 2024, in duplicate. Applications received after 15 June 2024, 12:00 hrs will not be accepted.

Interview Details

  • Date: 19 June 2024
  • Time: Candidates must arrive by 09:00 hrs. The interview will be conducted from 10:00 hrs to 14:00 hrs.
  • Venue: Stn HQ, ECHS Cell, Bhuj

Candidates are required to bring the following documents to the interview:

  • Original certificates, mark sheets, and degrees (10th/Matric, 10+2, Graduation/Post Graduation, Diploma/Course)
  • Work experience certificates
  • Discharge book, PPO, and service records
  • Two passport-sized color photographs
