About ECHS

The ECHS Central Organization is based in Delhi and operates under the Chief of Staff Committee (COSC) through the Adjutant General (AG) and the Director General of Dental Services and Central Welfare (DGDC&W) at the Army Headquarters. At its helm is the Managing Director, ECHS, who is typically a serving Major General. The ECHS has a network comprising 28 Regional Centers and 426 ECHS Polyclinics across the country. Additionally, ECHS functions as an attached office of the Department of Ex-Servicemen Welfare (DoESW), Ministry of Defence (MoD), alongside other bodies like the Directorate General Resettlement (DGR) and the Kendriya Sainik Board (KSB).

ECHS Invites Applications for Pharmacist Position at ECHS Polyclinic, Type ‘D’ Ramanathapuram

ECHS (Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme) is seeking qualified candidates to fill the position of Pharmacist on a contractual basis at ECHS Polyclinic, Type ‘D’ Ramanathapuram. The contract period is 11 months for civilians and one year for Ex-Servicemen (ESM), with the possibility of renewal subject to performance and other conditions.

Minimum Qualification and Experience:

  • B.Pharmacy from a recognized Institute OR
  • 10+2 with Science stream (PCB) from a recognized board AND
  • Approved D-Pharmacy from an institute recognized by PCI (Pharmacy Council of India) and registered as a pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act 1948 with a minimum of 03 years of experience.

Interview Date, Time & Venue:

Candidates are required to attend the interview at Station HQ (ECHS Cell), INS Parundu, Uchippulll, Dist-Ramanathapuram-623534 on 2nd May 2024. The interview will be conducted between 09:30 AM to 05:00 PM, and candidates must arrive by 09:00 AM. Candidates should bring all original certificates and 2 passport-size color photographs (with a blue background). No TA/DA will be provided. ESM candidates should also submit a copy of their discharge certificates along with the application form.
