Position: Research Associate – CMC (Analytical)

Job Description

1. Analytical Method Development: Undertake analytical method development and pre-validation activities assigned to projects.
2. Formulation Support: Provide analytical support for formulation development, optimization, and scale-up processes, as applicable.
3. Method Validation and Transfer: Assist in analytical method validation and method transfer activities for assigned projects.
4. Documentation: Prepare and update specifications, Standard Test Procedures (STPs), analytical protocols, and reports for assigned projects.
5. Stability Studies: Manage stability study-related activities for assigned projects to ensure product quality and compliance.
6. External Analysis Coordination: Coordinate routine and characterization tests with external labs and review their reports for assigned projects.
7. Literature Review: Conduct literature searches for analytical and regulatory aspects relevant to assigned projects.
8. Data Review: Review Electronic Lab Notebooks (ELNs) and data generated within the lab, as well as data received from Contract Research Organizations (CROs) or Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMOs).
9. Procurement Activities: Handle procurement activities related to projects and laboratory equipment, including defining Statements of Work (SOW), User Requirement Specifications (URS), and utilizing procurement tools like Coupa.
10. Equipment Maintenance: Coordinate and support Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM)/vendor for equipment Asset Management (AM), Preventive Maintenance (PM), and regular maintenance in the Analytical lab.

Candidate Profile

• Education: M.Pharma / M.Sc in Pharma Chemistry
• Experience: Around 3-5 years of experience in Analytical development for formulations.
• Preferred Experience: Working experience with complex injectables, hydrogels, large molecules, peptides, etc.
• Skills: Sound scientific skills, good communication skills, engagement, and accountability towards the defined purpose, ability to work well within a team.
