We are hiring a Patient Safety Services (PSS) Assistant I to support our pharmacovigilance and drug safety operations. This entry-level opportunity is ideal for graduates passionate about ensuring the safety of medicines and making a real-world impact in healthcare.


๐ŸŽฏ Key Responsibilities

As an Assistant I โ€“ PSS, you will:

  • Perform case intake and triage of safety information from clinical trials and post-marketing activities.

  • Accurately enter adverse event data into global safety tracking systems.

  • Prepare clear and detailed patient narratives and code adverse events using MedDRA terminology.

  • Assist in listedness assessments against product labels for marketed products.

  • Generate queries and gather missing safety details in coordination with medical staff.

  • Submit expedited Serious Adverse Event (SAE) reports to clients, regulatory authorities, ethics committees, and investigators.

  • Support periodic safety reporting while ensuring compliance with regulatory timelines.

  • Assist with database reconciliation and maintain accurate adverse event documentation.

  • Collaborate across cross-functional PSS teams while adhering to SOPs, work instructions, and quality frameworks.


๐ŸŽ“ Qualifications & Skills

Education

  • Non-degree candidates with 6 monthsโ€“1 year of relevant experience, OR

  • Associate, BS/BA, MS/MA, PharmD in Biological Sciences, Pharmacy, Nursing, Life Sciences, or related fields (0โ€“6 months experience accepted).

Preferred Experience

  • Prior exposure to pharmacovigilance, clinical data management, regulatory affairs, or quality assurance (not mandatory).

Core Skills

  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

  • Proficiency in MS Office and database tools.

  • Ability to proofread numerical data and work effectively in a collaborative environment.
