About ECHS

The Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme (ECHS) Central Organisation, based in Delhi, operates under the Chief of Staff Committee (COSC) through the AG and DGDC&W at Army Headquarters. Managed by a serving Major General, the ECHS oversees 28 Regional Centres and 426 Polyclinics nationwide. As an attached office of the Department of Ex-Servicemen Welfare (DoESW), Ministry of Defence (MoD), ECHS works alongside the Directorate General Resettlement (DGR) and the Kendriya Sainik Board (KSB) to provide health services to ex-servicemen.

Job Vacancy: Pharmacist

Position Details

ECHS is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Pharmacist at its Polyclinics in Raiwala and Theri on a contractual basis. The engagement is for one year for Ex-Servicemen and 11 months for civilian candidates.

Qualification Requirements:

  • B. Pharmacy from a recognized institute, OR
  • 10+2 with science stream (Physics, Chemistry & Biology) from a recognized board along with an approved Diploma in Pharmacy from an institute recognized by the Pharmacy Council of India and registration as a Pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act of 1948.

Experience: Minimum of 3 years

Salary: Rs. 28,100/- per month

Preference: Preference will be given to Ex-Servicemen.

Interested candidates must submit their applications in the prescribed format, along with self-attested photocopies of testimonials supporting their educational qualifications and work experience. Applications should be submitted in duplicate to the Officer-in-Charge, ECHS Cell, Station Headquarters, Raiwala by 10th July 2024. Applications received after this date will not be accepted.

  • Time: 09:30 hrs (interview from 10:00 hrs to 12:00 hrs)
  • Venue: Station Headquarters, Raiwala

Candidates must bring all original certificates, mark sheets, degrees (10th/Matric, 10+2, Graduation/Post-Graduation/Diploma/Course), work experience documents, discharge book, PPO, service records, medical certificate from a government hospital, and passport-sized color photographs to the interview.

Note: No TA/DA is admissible for the interview. Only candidates meeting the qualitative requirements should apply.
