Kerala State Drugs and Pharmaceuticals Ltd (KSDP), Alappuzha, is the only allopathic pharmaceutical formulations manufacturing organization under the Government of Kerala. Established in 1974, KSDP has been supplying essential medicines to government hospitals and institutions in Kerala, as well as to government entities in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and for the Janaushadhi programme.
Job Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee the manufacturing process to ensure efficiency and adherence to quality standards.
- Ensure cost-effective production while maintaining high-quality output.
- Implement and monitor Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and regulatory compliance.
- Supervise production staff, ensuring smooth operations and process improvements.
- Maintain records and reports in compliance with regulatory and organizational requirements.
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualifications:
- PhD in Pharmacy / M.Pharm with a minimum of 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical production with FDA/DCA approval.
- B.Pharm with 10-15 years of experience in pharmaceutical production with FDA/DCA approval.
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years for PhD/M.Pharm holders.
- Minimum 10-15 years for B.Pharm holders.
- Experience in a managerial role in a reputed pharmaceutical company is preferred.
Age Limit:
- Maximum 45 years as of the notification date.
- Age relaxation applicable as per government rules.
Key Skills Required
- Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Analytical thinking and adaptability.
- Knowledge of regulatory norms and industry best practices.
