Government Job for Pharma candidates under Food & Drug Administration- Apply before 22nd October 2024

The Commissioner of Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Maharashtra, invites applications from qualified candidates for the positions of Analytical Chemist (Group-B) Non-Gazetted and Senior Technical Assistant (Group-C). Appointments are available in FDA’s Working Laboratories through an online application process.

Position 1: Analytical Chemist (Group-B)

• Vacancies: 19
• Salary Structure: S-14, ₹38,600 – ₹1,22,800 plus dearness allowance and applicable benefits.
• Educational Qualifications:
  1. Option 1: Degree in Pharmacy, or a Postgraduate Degree in Chemistry or Biochemistry from a recognized university (no experience required).
  2. Option 2: Second-class Science Degree with at least 18 months of experience in pharmaceutical analysis post-degree.
• Age Limit: Minimum 18 years, maximum 38 years (age relaxations apply as per government rules).

Position 2: Senior Technical Assistant (Group-C)

• Vacancies: 37
• Salary Structure: S-13, ₹35,400 – ₹1,12,400 plus dearness allowance and applicable benefits.
• Educational Qualifications:
  1. Option 1: Second-class Science Degree from a recognized university.
  2. Option 2: Degree in Pharmacy.
• Age Limit: Minimum 18 years, maximum 38 years (age relaxations apply as per government rules).

Age Relaxation Details:

• Backward Classes/Sports Persons/Economically Weaker Sections (EWS)/Socially and Educationally Backward Classes: 5-year relaxation.
• Disabled and Orphan Candidates: Up to 45 years.
• Graduate Part-Time Candidates: Up to 55 years.
• Earthquake Affected Candidates: Up to 45 years.

Examination Details

• Online Examination: The exams for both positions will be conducted separately in multiple sessions, depending on the number of applicants.
• Fee:
  • Unreserved Category: ₹1000
  • Reserved Category: ₹900
  • Ex-Servicemen: No fee
    (Bank charges and applicable taxes are additional).

• Application Period: From 11:00 AM on 23rd September 2024 to 11:59 PM on 22nd October 2024.
• Last Date for Fee Payment: 23rd October 2024 (until 11:59 PM).
• Admit Card & Exam Dates: Notifications will be published on the official website.
