About ECHS

ECHS stands for the Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme. It is a healthcare scheme in India that provides medical facilities to retired armed forces personnel and their dependents. The scheme was established to address the healthcare needs of ex-servicemen and their families by offering a comprehensive range of medical services.

Under ECHS, eligible individuals can avail of medical services at empaneled hospitals and clinics across the country. The scheme is contributory in nature, meaning that beneficiaries contribute a nominal amount to avail of the health services. The goal of ECHS is to ensure that ex-servicemen and their dependents have access to quality healthcare services at an affordable cost.

The scheme covers a wide range of medical services, including outpatient and inpatient care, diagnostic services, and medicines. It aims to provide comprehensive healthcare support to the retired armed forces personnel, including those who have taken premature retirement.

ECHS Invites Applications for Contractual Engagement in Imphal & Churachandpur Polyclinics

ECHS (Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme) is seeking applications from qualified candidates to fill the position of Pharmacist on a contractual basis for 02 x ECHS Polyclinics in Imphal & Churachandpur (CCpur). The engagement will be for a period of one year/11 months, renewable based on performance and other conditions, up to the maximum age limit.

Basic Qualification Required at ECHS:

B.Pharmacy or 10+2 (Science) with an approved Diploma in Pharmacy.
Work Experience Required at ECHS:

Minimum three years of relevant experience.

Reservation for Ex-Servicemen: 70%

Fixed Remuneration: ₹28,100/- per month

Application Procedure at ECHS:

Interested candidates should submit their applications in the prescribed format, available on our website. Applications, along with self-attested photocopies of testimonials supporting educational qualifications and work experience, must reach the OIC, Stn HQ (ECHS Cell), Leimakhong by 18th Feb 2024 in duplicate. Applications received after this date will not be accepted.

Interview Details at ECHS:

The date, timing, and venue for the interview will be communicated to eligible candidates.
Candidates must bring original certificates/mark sheets/degrees of 10th/Matric, 10+2, Graduate/Post Graduation/Diploma/Course, work experience, discharge book, PPO, service record, and 01 passport size colour photograph at the time of the interview.
No TA/DA is admissible.
Only candidates meeting the Qualitative Requirements may apply.
