Position Overview:

RRB invites applications from eligible candidates for the post of Pharmacist (Entry Grade) under the Para-medical category. Candidates are required to submit their applications online by 16th September 2024. All applications must be complete in every respect to be considered.

Vacancy Details:

• Total Vacancies (All RRBs): 246
• Pay Level (as per 7th CPC): Level 5
• Initial Pay: ₹29,200
• Medical Standard: C2
• Age Requirement (as of 01.01.2025): 20-38 years

Note: The upper age limit includes a relaxation of 3 years due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Medical Fitness Standards:

• Physical Fitness: Must be physically fit in all respects.
• Distance Vision: 6/12, nil with or without glasses.
• Near Vision: Sn. 0.6 combined with or without glasses where reading or close work is required.

Examination Fee:

1. General Category: ₹500/- (₹400/- will be refunded after appearing in the CBT, minus bank charges).
2. Reserved Categories (SC, ST, Ex-Servicemen, PwBD, Female, Transgender, Minorities, EBC): ₹250/- (Full amount will be refunded after appearing in the CBT, minus bank charges).
