Job Title: EMT

District Health & Family Welfare Society, Ambala

Applications are hereby invited from eligible candidates to fill various contractual posts under the National Health Mission (NHM). These positions are offered by the District Health & Family Welfare Society, Ambala, on a contractual basis for a fixed period up to March 31, 2025, with the possibility of extension based on performance and administrative approval.

Essential Qualifications

  1. Registered B. Pharmacy/ D. Pharmacy/ GNM/BSc Nursing
  2. Proficiency in Hindi/Sanskrit up to Matriculation
  3. Preferred: Male candidates
  4. Age Limit: 18-42 years
  5. Entry Level Salary: ₹11,170/- per month (NHM Service Bye Laws: ₹5200-20200 + ₹2000/-)

Important Instructions

  1. Application Fee: A Demand Draft of ₹200/- in favor of “District Health and Family Welfare Society Ambala Non-NHM” payable at Ambala must be attached with the application form for each post. No cheques or cash will be accepted. The demand draft must be drawn between the date of advertisement and the closing date. Applications without the fee will be rejected.
  2. Selection Process: There will be no written test or computer test for these posts. Selection criteria will follow MD NHM letter No NHM/Admin/HRC-1/2022-23/10885-905 dated March 20, 2023.
  3. Application Updates: Applicants are advised to visit the website nhmharyana.gov.in for updates or changes in the schedule or status of their application. Personal visits or contact with office personnel regarding the application status are discouraged and may lead to disqualification.
  4. Verification of Information: Providing false information will result in the cancellation of the candidate’s application and potential legal action. Clerical mistakes may be corrected by district authorities at any stage.
  5. Contractual Nature: Selected candidates will have no claim for regularization as the post is purely contractual, subject to yearly approval.
  6. Private Practice: No private practice is allowed for staff/officers recruited under NHM after duty hours or on holidays.
  7. Eligibility: Candidates terminated on disciplinary grounds from any Govt./semi-Govt./Corporate Board or those with pending criminal cases/FIRs will be ineligible.
  8. Age Relaxation: Age relaxation will be provided according to Haryana Government reservation rules and MD NHM letter No. NHM/Admin/HR/2020-21/4776-98 dated August 17, 2020.
  9. Application Submission: Full particulars along with contact number, email ID, postal address with PINCODE, a passport size photo, and self-attested copies of educational qualifications, experience certificates, residence proof, and other relevant documents should be attached with the application form.
  10. Document Verification: Original documents must be presented at the time of verification. Absence during document verification will lead to cancellation of candidature.
  11. Eligibility Conditions: Candidates must ensure they fulfill all eligibility conditions by the last application date. Non-compliance or false information will result in cancellation of the application.
  12. UGC Approved Certificates: Candidates with education from Private/Deemed Universities must submit UGC-approved certificates for the concerned year of passing.
  13. Application Forms: Application forms can be obtained from the NHM Office, Old Civil Hospital, O/o Civil Surgeon Office Ambala City. Forms must be submitted by hand by the closing date.
  14. Local Area Preference: Preference will be given to local area candidates upon verification of specific documents.
  15. Post Adjustments: District authorities (Civil Surgeon, Ambala) reserve the right to increase, decrease, or withdraw posts without further notice.
  16. Performance Review: The performance of appointed candidates will be reviewed every 3 months. Continuation of service will depend on satisfactory performance.
  17. Experience Weightage: Experience weightage will be provided only for experience from State Govt./Semi Govt./UT/any Govt. Board/Corporations. Relevant certificates must be attached.
  18. Separate Applications: Candidates applying for the same category posts under different programs must submit separate applications with respective Demand Drafts.
  19. Final Recruitment: The final recruitment decision rests with the Selection Committee, DH&FW Society, Ambala.
  20. Adherence to Instructions: Instructions from State HQ NHM, Haryana Panchkula, will be followed accordingly throughout the recruitment process.
