Job Description:
The Additional Chief Secretary of the Health, Medical Education, and Family Welfare Department in Jharkhand has issued a letter (no. 171 (3) dated 25.02.2023) to address the healthcare needs of Primitive Tribal Community (PVTG) dominated villages in Jharkhand. Under the State Scheme, applications are invited for the position of Medical Assistant.

Qualifications:
- B.Sc Nursing / GNM
- B.Sc Community Health
- Bachelor / Diploma in Pharmacy from a recognized university / institution
Salary:
Rs 15,000/- per month
Age Limit:
Minimum Age Limit: 21 years
Maximum Age Limit:
- UR: 35 years
- Backward class and extremely backward class: 37 years
- ST/SC: 40 years
- Women General Class, Backward Class, and extremely backward class: 38 years
Selection Conditions:
(a) Contractual appointment based on honorarium
(b) District-level reservation roster applicable
(c) Initial contract for one year, extendable based on annual performance appraisal
(d) Verification of original certificates within three months; incorrect certificates lead to contract cancellation
(e) One month’s notice or one month’s advance honorarium for contract termination
Additional Information:
(a) CGPA score card submission requires a conversion chart
(b) District Health Committee’s decision in the appointment process is final and binding
(c) Advertisement terms and conditions subject to change as needed
(d) Sahebganj merit list final approval by District Selection Committee
(e) Mandatory registration with Jharkhand State Ayush Medical Council/Jharkhand Nursing Council/Jharkhand Paramedical Council for relevant post.
