Meghalayan Medical Drugs & Services Limited (MMDSL), established by the Government of Meghalaya, is dedicated to enhancing healthcare accessibility across the state. Our mission is to ensure the availability of essential drugs and medical supplies through strict quality control and efficient logistics. We are seeking applications from citizens of Meghalaya for the following position on a contractual basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and verify drugs, surgical materials, and other items supplied by vendors.
- Ensure the quality, quantity, and condition of the materials received meet specifications.
- Properly stock and maintain drugs and materials for easy access and preservation.
- Conduct periodic physical verification of stock and assess inventory levels.
- Ensure the timely and accurate issuance of drugs and supplies to healthcare facilities.
- Maintain proper accounting of materials received and issued.
- Foster a safe and productive working environment within the warehouse.
- Adhere to safety protocols for staff, equipment, and stored materials.
- Perform on-call duties as needed and communicate any issues to the appropriate authorities.
- Handle additional responsibilities as assigned by the Reporting Officer or Management.
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
- Education: B.Pharm or related field from a recognized institution.
- Experience: At least 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in retail or a management position.
- Skills & Competencies:
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure and collaborate effectively within a team.
- Good physical and mental health to perform in a high-stress environment.
- Willingness to maintain positive working relationships with colleagues.
