Position Overview

Applications are invited for the post of Pharmacist on an 11-month contractual basis under various NHM programs at the District Level, Taluka Level, Primary Health Centers, and Urban Health Centers across Gujarat. A waiting list will also be prepared for future vacancies.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Degree or Diploma in Pharmacy from a government-recognized institute/university.

• Must be registered with the Gujarat Pharmacy Council, and the registration must be valid/renewed at the time of application.

Experience

• Prior experience in handling computer applications will be given preference.

Age Limit

• Maximum age: 40 years

• Age will be calculated as on 24-07-2025.

• Registration certificate with Gujarat Pharmacy Council (including renewal slip if applicable)

• Experience certificate (if available)

• HSC mark sheet and attempt certificate

• Any other supporting documents as required

Important Instructions

1. Incomplete applications or those without proper documentation will be rejected.

2. Candidates can apply only once for this post.

3. Selection will be strictly on the basis of merit as per government rules.

   • In case of a tie, the older candidate will be given preference.

4. Document verification will be held at a date, time, and place decided by the district office.

   • No TA/DA will be provided.

   • Absentees during verification will be disqualified.

5. Appointment is non-transferable to other districts.

6. Final selection is subject to approval by the District Health Society, Chief District Health Officer, and NHM authorities.
