Post: Pharmacist

This job post with post code 203 has one vacancy available for the UR (unreserved) category. The maximum age limit for this post is 33 years.

Qualification: The essential qualification for this post is a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy with at least 55% marks from an institute recognized by the Central or State Government. The candidate should also be registered as a pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act, 1948.

Experience: In terms of experience, the candidate should have relevant work experience of 5 years as a pharmacist at a reputed hospital or organization with a minimum of 50 beds. The organization can be Central Govt. / State Govt. / recognized Private Hospitals / Nursing Homes / Pharmacies, etc.

Remuneration: The remuneration for this post as per URRs is Rs. 41,500/-.

General Terms and Conditions:

  1. The positions are purely on a contract basis with a fixed monthly remuneration.
  2. The contract period is for six months or until regular appointments are made, whichever is earlier, and can be extended or curtailed based on the institute’s requirement and satisfactory work performance.
  3. Selection for the positions will not entitle the candidate for any claim or regular appointments at IISER Mohali.
  4. The number of vacancies indicated in the notification is tentative, and IISER Mohali reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of advertised posts at any time.
  5. Candidates should read the advertisement’s minimum essential qualifications, age, eligibility, experience criteria, etc., carefully before applying. Providing false or wrong information will lead to rejection of the candidature.
  6. Possession of the essential qualification/experience will not entitle the candidate to be called for the written test/skill test/interview. The institute may restrict the number of candidates based on qualification and experience higher than the minimum prescribed.
  7. Any corrigendum/addendum will be published on the institute’s website, and candidates should check regularly for updates.
  8. The application process is online only, and all relevant documents should be uploaded.
  9. Applications received after the last date will not be entertained.
  10. The candidate should upload a recent passport size photograph and relevant documents relating to qualification, experience, etc.
  11. Applications received through email/offline mode/incomplete/not on the prescribed format will not be entertained.
  12. The application once submitted cannot be altered/resubmitted under any circumstances.
  13. Experience/essential qualification and age will be reckoned on the last date for submission of the online application form.
  14. The qualification should be obtained from recognized Universities/Institutions.
  15. Original documents and photocopies should be produced at the time of the written test/skill test/interview.
  16. The candidate should keep their email ID and mobile number provided in the application form active.
  17. No correspondence will be entertained from candidates regarding eligibility/conduct/result of the written test/skill test/interview.
  18. The institute’s decision in all matters relating to eligibility, acceptance or rejection of applications, fixing the eligibility criteria, equivalence of qualifications, mode of screening/selection, conduct of written test/skill test/interview, not filling the vacancy, will be final and binding on the candidates.
  19. Canvassing in any form/bringing in any political influence or otherwise will be treated as a disqualification of the candidate. False information in the application will lead to cancellation of candidature.
  20. The institute will not pay any TA/DA to the candidates attending the written test/skill test/interview.
  1. Relaxion/concession of Age:

The rules and regulations regarding age relaxation and application fees for candidates applying for various posts. The maximum age limit for each post is determined as of the last date of the submission of the application form, as mentioned in the advertisement. SC/ST candidates can avail of age relaxation for up to 5 years, while OBC candidates can avail of age relaxation for up to 3 years.

Age relaxation is not applicable to reserved category candidates applying against UR category posts.

Departmental candidates can avail of age relaxation as per the instructions or orders of the GoI. Candidates belonging to other eligible categories can avail of relaxation as per GoI norms, and the Institute follows the reservation norms as per GoI rules for SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PwBD/EWS/ESM. PwBDs can avail of all exemptions and relaxation benefits as per GoI guidelines.

22.Candidates need to submit a separate online application for each post applied.

23.They must pay an online application fee of Rs. 500/- if they belong to GEN/OBC-NCL/EWS/ESM categories. SC/ST/PwBD/Women candidates of any community are exempt from paying the fee. Payment of the application fee through any other mode of payment will not be accepted, and the fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.

The last date for the submission of application forms is 20.04.2023, up to 05:00 P.M.
