For the programmes run under the National Urban Health Mission as mentioned in the table below, applications are being accepted from applicants who are qualified for the positions listed in the table below on a contractual basis.
Job Description: Pharmacist
Number of Posts: 01
Qualification: Candidates must have completed D.Pharm (Diploma in Pharmacy) from a recognized institution.
Age Limit: The maximum age limit is 38 years for candidates from the open category and 43 years for candidates from reserved categories.
Experience: Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience in similar administrative or semi-administrative positions.
Salary: The salary for the Pharmacist position is Rs. 17,000/- per month.
Terms and Conditions:
- Application Fee: Candidates applying for the recruitment process from the unreserved category must attach a demand draft of Rs. 150/- (one hundred and fifty rupees) along with their application. Reserved category candidates should attach a demand draft of Rs. 100/- (one hundred rupees) as application fee. The fee is non-refundable and should be in favor of “Integrated Health and Family Welfare Society Sangli, Sangli Miraj and Kupwad City Corporation.” The demand draft should be attached at the top of the application form, and the candidate’s full name, post applied for, and post number should be written on the reverse side. Please note that any mistake or discrepancy in the demand draft may result in the rejection of the application.
- Contractual Basis: The mentioned post is filled on a contractual basis for a period of 11 months and 29 days. If the salary for the post is not received in the action plan of the year 2023-24, the service will be automatically terminated. However, if the post is sanctioned during the year 2023-24, the appointment will continue for the remaining 11 months and 29 days, subject to satisfactory performance.
- Contractual Nature: The mentioned posts are not government posts but purely contractual. Candidates appointed to these posts will not have rights or claims regarding the terms and conditions of government service, and government service rules will not be applicable. The salary will be consolidated remuneration paid on a monthly basis. Preference will be given to candidates with higher educational qualifications and experience.
- Age Limit: As per the Government Decision dated 25th April 2016, the maximum age limit for unreserved category candidates is 38 years, and for reserved category candidates, it is 43 years. The age limit for medical officers, specialists, and super specialists is 70 years. Candidates who have worked or are working under NHM will receive a relaxation of 5 years in the age limit.
- Selection Criteria: If a reserved category candidate meeting the required educational qualifications is not available, candidates from other categories with the required qualifications will be considered as per the letter from Joint Director (Intergovernmental), National Health Mission Mumbai.
- Multiple Post Applications: If a candidate wishes to apply for more than one post, separate applications should be submitted for each post. The candidate should also submit the priority order of the posts before the interview. If the interview tests are conducted simultaneously, the candidate can only appear for one of the posts. The candidate who is present will be considered for that post, and the absentee will be considered for the other post.
- Selection Process: The selection for the above post will be based on the number of applications received, and a merit list will be prepared. The selection committee’s decision will be final. Candidates found using any undue pressure methods will have their selection canceled.
- Registration Certificate: It is mandatory to attach the registration certificate of the corresponding council for the mentioned post. Failure to do so will result in disqualification.
- Post Disapproval: If the concerned post is disapproved by the Central/State Government, the candidate’s service will be terminated immediately without prior notice.
- Caste Certificate: Backward class candidates applying under reservation must attach their caste certificate with the application. Failure to do so will result in disqualification.
- Fitness and Criminal Record: The applicant should be physically and mentally fit for the concerned post, and no criminal case should have been registered against the applicant.
- Mention of Details: Candidates should clearly mention the name of the post they are applying for, their caste category, bank name, and demand draft number as per social reservation in the application form.

The application acceptance period is from 12/06/2023 to 26/06/2023, between 10:00 am and 05:00 pm (excluding holidays).
