Post: Pharmacist

Firm: Pharmaceutical Corporation (IM) Kerala Limited

Scale of Pay: Rs. 17,000-37,500/-

Number of vacancies: 2 (Two)

Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment

Age Criteria: The age limit for candidates applying for the Pharmacist post is set between 18 and 36 years. Only candidates born between 02.01.1987 and 01.01.2005 (both dates included) are eligible to apply. However, candidates belonging to Other Backward Communities (OBC) and Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes (SC/ST) are eligible for the usual age relaxation as per the applicable government rules.

Age Relaxation for Provisional Hands: Provisional hands currently working in the above concern will be granted age relaxation based on the extent of their provisional service, subject to a maximum of five years from the upper age limit. This relaxation is provided they were within the prescribed age limit at the time of their first appointment in the above concern. It’s important to note that regular employees of the concern are not eligible for this concession for further appointments. Provisional hands should obtain a certificate showing the period of their provisional service in the concern and produce it as and when required by the Commission. The certificate should clearly state that they were not working in the regular service of the concern.

Qualification :

  1. Pass in SSLC/Equivalent: Candidates should have successfully completed the Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) examination or an equivalent qualification recognized by the government.
  2. Diploma/Certificate in Ayurveda Pharmacist Course: Candidates must possess a Diploma or Certificate in Ayurveda Pharmacist Course that is recognized by the Government of Kerala. This requirement is based on the Government Order (G.O. (MS.) No. 39/2020/AYUSH) dated 23.10.2020.

Note:

  1. Rule 10(a)ii of Part II of KS&SSR: This rule, as specified in the Kerala State and Subordinate Services Rules, is applicable to the recruitment process.
  2. Equivalence of Qualifications: Apart from the qualifications mentioned in the notification, if any qualification is recognized as equivalent by executive orders or standing orders of the government, it will be considered acceptable by the Commission. Additionally, if any qualification is specified as acceptable by the Commission and it requires the acquisition of a lower qualification prescribed for the post, it will be deemed sufficient. Candidates must produce copies of the government orders declaring the equivalent or higher qualifications as and when required by the Commission.

Probation: The specific details regarding the probation period for the Pharmacist post will be as per the provisions mentioned in the Recruitment Rules of Pharmaceutical Corporation (IM) Kerala Limited.

To submit applications for the Pharmacist post in Pharmaceutical Corporation (IM) Kerala Limited, candidates must follow the specified method. Here are the steps:

(a) One Time Registration:

  1. Candidates must first register on the official website of the Kerala Public Service Commission (keralapsc.gov.in) through the One Time Registration (OTR) process.
  2. If candidates have already registered, they can proceed to the next step. Otherwise, they need to complete the OTR process.

Application Submission:

  1. Log in to the profile using the User-ID and Password generated during the OTR process.
  2. Click on the ‘Apply Now’ button for the respective post in the Notification Link section.
  3. Fill in the required details in the application form.
  4. Upload a photograph that meets the specified requirements. The photograph should have been taken after 31.12.2013, and the name of the candidate and date of the photograph should be legibly printed at the bottom portion.
  5. The uploaded photograph will be valid for 10 years from the date of uploading. If creating a new OTR profile, the photograph should be taken within the last 6 months.
  6. No application fee is required for this recruitment.
  7. Verify the accuracy of the information in the application before the final submission.
  8. After submission, candidates should keep a printout or soft copy of the online application for future reference.
  9. Correspondences with the Commission should include the printout of the application.
  10. Note that once the application is submitted, it cannot be deleted or altered.

(b) Aadhaar Card: Candidates who possess an Aadhaar Card should add it as an ID proof in their profiles.

(c) Confirmation for Written/OMR/Online Test:

  1. If a written/OMR/online test is part of the selection process, candidates must submit confirmation for writing the examination through their One Time Registration profiles.
  2. Only candidates who submit the confirmation within the stipulated period can generate and download the Admission Tickets in the last 15 days leading up to the date of the test.
  3. Candidates who fail to submit confirmation within the given period will have their applications rejected.
  4. The specific periods for submission of confirmation and availability of admission tickets will be published in the examination calendar.
  5. Candidates will receive information about this process in their respective profiles and the mobile phone number registered with it.                                                                                                            Special Instructions for Candidates:a) Discrepancy in Caste/Community: If there is a difference between the caste/community claimed in the application and the one mentioned in the SSLC book, candidates must provide a Gazette notification regarding the change. Along with the notification, they should also submit a non-creamy layer certificate/community certificate during the certificate verification process.

    b) Compliance with General Conditions: Candidates must thoroughly read and understand the instructions given in the notification, particularly in Part II, General Conditions, before submitting their applications. Applications that do not comply with the terms and conditions specified in the General Conditions are liable to be rejected.

    c) Disciplinary Action: Any candidate found to have submitted applications with false or bogus claims regarding their education, experience, or any other qualification may face appropriate disciplinary action as per Rule 22 of the Kerala Public Service Commission Rules of Procedure. This action may include disqualification from consideration for the particular post, debarment from applying to the Commission either permanently or for a specific period, invalidation of their answer scripts or products in a written/practical test, initiation of criminal or other legal proceedings, removal or dismissal from office, or any other disciplinary action deemed necessary.

    Last Date for Application Submission: The last date for the receipt of applications is Thursday, 29th June 2023, until 12 midnight.
