Government job opportunity for Pharmacists (10 posts) under District Health & Family Welfare Samiti

No of posts : There are 10 vacant posts, out of which 5 are for the UR category, 2 for SC, 1 for OBC-A, 1 for OBC-B, and 1 for ST category.

Age Limit Maximum : The maximum age limit for this post is 40 years as of 1st January 2023.

Essential Criteria : The essential criteria for the post include having a two-year Diploma in Pharmacy (D-Pharma) (ALLOPATHIC) recognized by the Government of West Bengal and registered as “A” category Pharmacist under West Bengal Pharmacy Council. Additionally, the candidate must have proficiency in Bengali and computer skills, including MS office and the internet. Only candidates who are permanent residents of West Bengal are eligible to apply.

General instructions: 

The application process is online, and the candidates must visit the departmental website wbhealth.gov.in/online recruitment to apply. The application fee is Rs. 100 for UR category and Rs. 50 for SC, ST, and OBC candidates. The fee is non-refundable. The candidates must upload their recent photograph and signature in jpeg format and between 20-30kb each.

Candidates can apply for multiple posts if they are eligible, but only the last application will be accepted in case of multiple applications for the same post. Age relaxation will be given as per the Government norms. However, the essential qualification degree through distance learning or from any Open University will not be accepted for the post of Block Epidemiologist, Block Public Health Manager, Laboratory Technician & Block Data Manager under XV-FC.

The remuneration for this post will be fixed as per the rate of National Health Mission (NHM) as mentioned against the posts, and no enhancement will be permitted during the entire tenure up to 2026 for the posts under XV-FC only. The candidates should visit the website wbhealth.gov.in and nadia.nic.in for updates and communications.

The registration starts on 22/03/2023 at 12:00 AM and ends on 03/04/2023 at 11:59 PM, and the application starts on 22/03/2023 at 12:00 AM and ends on 05/04/2023 at 11:59 PM. The candidates have to bring their original testimonials and one self-attested photocopy for verification purposes at the venue to be intimated later on.

Documents Required: The list of documents required for verification includes the on-line application print-out, Original Photo Identity Proof (issued by competent authority), Birth Certificate/Admit card or equivalent of Class-X as age proof, all the Mark sheets (for all years/semester) and course completion certificate of all essential and desirable qualifications, Caste Certificate issued by competent authority, and all the post-qualification experience certificates issued and stamped by the appropriate authority stating from oldest to latest. Existing NHM employees should submit experience certificates with the above-mentioned criteria and mentioning their HRMIS ID.

It is important to note that failure to produce any of the original documents during physical verification or any mismatch found during the verification process will lead to the rejection of the candidate’s application.
