Position: Pharmacist

Pharmacist (RBSK)

  • Number of Posts: 8 (UR-4, ST-4)
  • Qualification: Diploma in Pharmacy from a recognized institute, registered under Jharkhand State Pharmacy Council, computer proficiency (MS Office) & Internet
  • Salary: ₹12,000 per month

Pharmacist (N.T.E.P)

  • Number of Posts: 1 (UR-1)
  • Qualification: Diploma in Pharmacy from a recognized institute, registered under Jharkhand State Pharmacy Council, computer proficiency (MS Office) & Internet
  • Salary: ₹15,000 per month

Selection Conditions

  1. Appointments are on a contractual basis with an approved honorarium.
  2. District-level reservation roster applies to all posts.
  3. The contract is initially for one year and may be extended annually based on performance.
  4. Verification of original certificates within three months; any discrepancies will result in immediate contract termination and legal action.
  5. Contract termination requires one month’s notice or one month’s advance honorarium.
  6. CGPA scorecards must be accompanied by a CGPA conversion chart.
  7. Only one application per candidate is accepted; multiple applications will be rejected.
  8. Shortlisted candidates will proceed based on eligibility and qualifications.
  9. Preference will be given to applicants residing in Sahibganj district.
  10. The District Selection Committee’s decision is final.
  11. The merit list is approved by the District Selection Committee.
  12. Age calculation is from the advertisement publication date.

Selection Process

  1. Selection is based on marks obtained in written examinations/technical examination (Skill Test)/interview.
  2. Applications must be sent via registered post/speed post.
  3. Jharkhand Government’s reservation policy applies. Jharkhand state candidates must submit caste/EWS certificates issued by the Sub-Divisional Officer.
  4. The final merit list will be published at the office of the Civil Surgeon/Deputy Commissioner and on sahibganj.nic.in.
  5. Candidates will be listed in two parts: Part-A (eligible candidates) and Part-B (waiting list, valid for one year).
  6. Selected candidates must submit an affidavit of no criminal conviction and a health certificate issued by a civil surgeon at joining.

  1. Eligible candidates should submit their application with self-attested copies of required documents, residential certificate, caste certificate, matriculation certificate, computer proficiency certificate (if applicable), and two passport-size photographs by 05-07-2024 at 05:00 PM. Late applications will not be considered.
  2. Applications submitted to other offices will be cancelled.
  3. Application Fee: ₹400 for General/Backward Class/Extremely Backward Class applicants; ₹200 for Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe applicants, payable to District Rural Health Society, Sahibganj.
  4. Submit the complete application in a sealed envelope by registered post/speed post to the office of Civil Surgeon cum Chief Medical Officer, Sahibganj, with the following details on the envelope:
