Website Bihar Technical Service Commission (BTSC)
Bihar Technical Service Commission (BTSC) that was established by the Bihar Technical Service Commission Act, 2014. The purpose of this commission is to select candidates for technical positions of Group ‘B’ and ‘C’ under the State Government of Bihar. Before the formation of the BTSC, these positions were filled by the Bihar Staff Selection Commission.
According to the provisions of the BTSC, there is a provision for appointing an officer of the rank of the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) or a retired IAS officer with equivalent eligibility. This means that someone holding the rank of an IAS officer or a retired IAS officer who meets the necessary qualifications can be appointed to an officer position within the BTSC.
- Advertisement: The recruitment process is being conducted under Advertisement No. 05/2023 for the post of Pharmacist.
- Amendment in Dates: Due to compliance with the orders passed by the Honorable High Court, necessary amendments have been made. The new date for submitting online applications is from 06.07.2023 to 21.07.2023.
- Pay Scale: The selected candidates will be offered a pay scale of 5200-20200 with a Grade Pay of 2800/-. In the 7th Revised Pay Structure, the salary will be at Level-5.
- Number of Posts: There are a total of 1539 vacancies for the Pharmacist post. The distribution of these posts is as follows:
- UR (Unreserved): 561
- EWS (Economically Weaker Section): 132
- SC (Scheduled Caste): 321
- ST (Scheduled Tribe): 22
- EBC (Extremely Backward Class): 333
- BC (Backward Class): 105
- WBC (Women Backward Class): 65
- Essential Educational Qualification: Candidates must meet the following educational requirements:
- Pass in Intermediate / 10+2 (Science)
- Completion of Diploma in Pharmacy course from a recognized institution with certificates for all parts (I, II, III)
- Registration with the Bihar Pharmacy Council
- Instructions for Online Application: Candidates are advised to thoroughly read the detailed advertisement and instructions provided on the website before starting the online application process.
- Registration with Bihar Pharmacy Council: Candidates who are not registered with the Bihar Pharmacy Council must attach proof of their application for registration along with the online application.
- Registration Certificates: Candidates not registered with the Bihar Pharmacy Council will only be invited for counseling after registering before the counseling date. The registration certificate of the Bihar Pharmacy Council must be uploaded before counseling through the Commission’s online portal.
- Impact of CWJC No.-7437/2023: The candidature of candidates with B.Pharma/M.Pharma qualifications will be affected by the result of CWJC No.-7437/2023.
- Validity of Educational Certificates: Intermediate, Diploma in Pharmacy, B.Pharma, and M.Pharma certificates and mark sheets issued before 04.05.2023 will be accepted. Certificates issued until 21.07.2023 will also be considered valid. However, the calculation of work experience will be done until 05.04.2023.
- Existing Applicants: Candidates who have already filled out the online application do not need to apply again.
- Modification in Advertisement: Advertisement No.-05/2023 has been modified as per the mentioned details. All other conditions remain the same.
- Registration Last Date: The last date for registration is 21-07-2023.
