Job Overview

The Rajasthan Staff Selection Board invites online applications from eligible candidates for the recruitment of Contractual Pharma Assistants under the National Health Mission and Rajasthan Medical Education Society. This recruitment drive is for 499 posts, categorized as follows:

  • Unscheduled Areas: 457
  • Scheduled Areas: 42

Selected candidates will be engaged on a contractual basis, and the appointment will be subject to the terms and conditions specified in the official advertisement.

Salary

  • INR 16,900 per month (fixed remuneration)

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

  • Diploma/Degree in Pharmacy from a recognized institution
  • Must be registered as a Pharmacist with the Rajasthan Pharmacy Council

Nationality

Candidates must be:
(a) Indian citizens OR
(b) Citizens of Nepal/Bhutan OR
(c) Tibetan refugees who arrived in India before January 1, 1962, with the intention of permanent settlement OR
(d) Persons of Indian origin who have migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, and certain East African countries, subject to approval from the Government of India.

Age Limit

  • Minimum Age: 21 years (as of January 1, 2026)
  • Maximum Age: 40 years
  • Age relaxation is applicable as per government norms for reserved categories, ex-servicemen, widows, and differently-abled candidates.

Selection Process

Selection will be based on a Computer-Based Test (CBT) or Offline (OMR-based) Examination, scheduled between June 2, 2025, to June 13, 2025. If multiple exam stages are conducted, a normalization process will be implemented.

A) General Knowledge, Science, and Current Affairs

  • Indian history & national movements (focus on Rajasthan)
  • Geography of India & Rajasthan
  • Indian Constitution, governance, and Panchayati Raj system
  • Biodiversity & climate change
  • Current affairs (India, Rajasthan & world)
  • General science (up to 10th standard level)

B) General English & Hindi

  • Grammar (tenses, prepositions, articles, modals)
  • Sentence structuring, voice & narration
  • Synonyms, antonyms, idioms, and phrases
  • Comprehension and sentence rearrangement

C) Computer Knowledge

  • Basic computer applications & components
  • Operating systems and open-source technologies
  • MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, PDF)
  • Internet usage, emails, and cybersecurity basics
