Institute of Life Sciences (ILS) was established in the year 1989 as an autonomous institute under the administrative control of Govt. of Odisha. In 2002, it was taken over by the Department of Biotechnology, Govt. of India.
Project & Eligibility :
The eligibility criteria for a Research Associate-I position in the project “Assessment and Evaluation of Therapeutic Potential of Natural Compounds of selected Marine Bioresources under the Marine Bioresource and Biotechnology Network Programme” at the Institute of Life Sciences (ILS), Bhubaneswar include:
- A Ph.D. degree in any branch of Life Science.
- Experience in cell culture and molecular biology work.
- Research experience in Cell Biology, Cancer Biology, or Infectious Diseases is preferred.
- The candidate should have at least two first-author papers in peer-reviewed reputed journals (PubMed listed).
The selected candidate will be responsible for conducting research on the therapeutic potential of natural compounds of selected marine bioresources and will work under the guidance of a principal investigator.
Fellowship :The position comes with a fellowship of Rs. 47,000/- + @16% HRA.
It is also mentioned that candidates should ensure that their applications reach the specified address within the deadline. Late applications will not be considered.
