Job Description
Scope of Responsibility:
Join our dynamic healthcare team at Merck Limited, where you will contribute to the development of groundbreaking specialty medicines that address the needs of patients worldwide.
Purpose of the Role:
As a Specialist in Clinical Data Quality, you will collaborate closely with Program and Trial Data Managers and other key data stewards. Your primary role will be to assess the completeness, quality, and integrity of clinical data using advanced analytical tools. By ensuring high data quality and generating insights, you will support decision-making processes for our clinical studies. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining effective communication at the program and study levels with key stakeholders.
Candidate Profile
Education:
Advanced degree in Life Sciences (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Pharmaceuticals), Mathematics, Computer Sciences, or equivalent industry experience.
Experience:
4-7 years of experience as a Clinical Data Manager or Data Analyst in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
Technical Skills/Competencies:
- Proven experience in Clinical Data Management.
- Proficient in Data Visualization and Review.
- Strong knowledge of CDISC SDTM, ICH-GCP, and major health authority regulations (e.g., FDA, EMA, NMPA, PMDA).
- Competent in programming languages, data visualization, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- In-depth knowledge of Clinical Data Management Systems/EDC (e.g., Inform, Medidata Rave, Oracle RDC).
