Great opportunity for M. Pharm, MS Pharm, MS Tech to join IIT-BHU

IIT-BHU is a legacy institute established in 1919 as Banaras Engineering College (BENCO) and later became a part of IIT system in 2012. Position: The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) is inviting applications for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) for a sponsored project on “Development of exosome-based drug delivery system for naturally inspired novel multifunctional Neuroprotective molecules and their biological evaluation in Alzheimer’s disease models”.

Essential Qualification:

Candidates must have a first class degree in M.Pharm/M.S. (Pharm.)/M.Tech (Pharm)/M.Tech in Medicinal Chemistry/Pharmaceutical Chemistry/Formulation/Pharmaceutics/Pharmacognosy/Natural Product Chemistry/Process Chemistry/Pharmacology with GATE/GPAT/CSIR-NET or equivalent exam. A basic degree in pharmacy (B.Pharm) is also required.

Duration:

The duration of the post is initially for one year, extendable up to 3 years based on performance. The post is temporary and co-terminus with the project.

Desirable qualifications :

This job posting is for a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position in the field of formulations development/cell culture and animal handling. The ideal candidate should have expertise in these areas.

Salary:

The salary for the position will be as per Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) norms.

Age limit:

The age limit for the position is 28 years, but there is a relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST/physically handicapped/female candidates. In case of equal qualifications, SC/ST candidates will be given preference as per Government of India (GOI) rules.
