The Directorate of Medical Education, Training and Research, Assam was established in the year 1984 under the control of Health and Family Welfare Department, Government of Assam. The primary goal of the Directorate of Medical Education, Training and Research, Assam is to improve the health and well-being of the population of the state and the entire North Eastern Region by providing high-quality healthcare services. To achieve this goal, the Directorate focuses on training and educating healthcare professionals, including doctors, nurses, technicians, physiotherapists, pharmacists, and others.
In addition to training new healthcare professionals, the Directorate also works to improve the skills and knowledge of existing healthcare providers through ongoing education and training programs. This advertisement is inviting online applications for the newly created Grade-III pharmacist positions in four medical colleges in the state of Assam. There are a total of 6 posts available, with 2 posts available at each of the Nalbari Medical College, Kokrajhar Medical College, Nagaon Medical College, and Dhubri Medical College. The posts are broken down by category, with 1 post each for the General (UR) category and the Other Backward Classes / Most Backward Classes (OBC/MOBC) category.
Minimum requisite qualification :
The minimum qualification required to apply for the pharmacist positions in the medical colleges in Assam is a High School Leaving Certificate in Science (HSSLC) or equivalent, along with a Diploma in Pharmacy from a government-recognized institute. In addition, candidates must be registered with the Assam Pharmacy Council.
Pay Scale & Grade Pay : Successful candidates will receive a pay scale of Rs. 14,000 to Rs. 60,500, with a grade pay of Rs. 7,400.
