Gujarat Urban Health Project (Ahmedabad) for urban primary health centre and urban community health centre under Gujarat Urban Health Project with various resolutions of Health and Family Welfare Department of Gujarat Government for the purpose of making health services simple, accessible, and health infrastructure in the state metropolitan municipality area. The Gujarati government has created a new structure named and allocated the regular posts listed below on a 100% grant basis on a strictly temporary basis.
- Number of Posts: There are 33 vacant positions for Pharmacists.
- Reservation: As per the roster opinion, one post is reserved for Persons with Disabilities (PWD).
- Eligibility: Candidates must be Registered Pharmacists from a recognized institution.
- Salary: The initial salary for the selected candidates will be a fixed pay of Rs. 31,340/- for up to five years. After five years, performance appraisal will be considered, and the Pay Scale Level will be in Level 5 of the Pay Matrix, with a salary ranging from Rs. 29,200 to Rs. 92,300. Other allowances will be provided as per the rules.
- Age Limit: The maximum age limit for candidates is 35 years plus one additional year, unless already employed by Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation.
- Employment Status: It is clarified that candidates appointed to this post will not be considered employees of Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation. Important instructions to be observed by the candidate while applying online for the above post :-
- Application Fee: Candidates belonging to the non-reserved category (other than the disabled category) need to pay an application fee of Rs. 1128 per application. The fee must be paid online by 11/06/2023.
- Temporary Basis: The posts mentioned are created on a purely temporary basis until the grant from the government. Candidates appointed to these posts will be released upon the closure of the government’s grant/project. They will not be entitled to permanent or other benefits in the future, and they will not be considered employees of Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation.
- Accuracy of Application: The details provided by the candidate in the online application form will be considered final for the entire recruitment process. Candidates must submit original proofs (including attested copies) when requested by the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation.
- Photograph Requirement: Candidates should keep additional copies of the passport-size photograph uploaded during the online application process. The same photograph must be presented during the recruitment process.
- Multiple Applications: Candidates can submit only one application for one cadre. In case of multiple applications for one cadre, only the last online confirmed application will be accepted. The Municipal Commissioner has the authority to decide on the cancellation of any remaining applications.
- Age and Qualification: Age, qualification, and experience will be considered as of the last date of receipt of the online application.
- Experience Criteria: Only experience acquired after obtaining the educational qualification/degree as specified in the advertisement will be considered. Previous experience will not be considered. Candidates must provide relevant certificates and documentation supporting their experience during the verification process.
- Mandatory Registration Certificate: In cadres where a registration certificate is mandatory, candidates must submit it.
- No Objection Certificate (NOC): Candidates currently working in government/semi-government organizations must submit a No Objection Certificate from their current employer. The relieving order from the existing employing organization or the reasons thereof must be provided when reporting for duty at Gujarat Urban Health Project (Ahmedabad).
- Relaxation for Female Candidates: Female candidates will receive a relaxation of five (5) years in the upper age limit.
- Change of Category: The category chosen by the candidate in the online application form cannot be changed later.
- Selection Process: A shortlist/waiting list will be prepared based on criteria determined by the Municipal Commissioner/Appointing Authority. The criteria may include basic qualifications, experience, written tests (MCQ test), practical tests, and interviews. Approved candidates will be notified through the website or mobile message.
- Mobile Number: Candidates must provide a valid mobile number in the application form for future communication. Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation will not be responsible for any issues arising due to an incorrect mobile number or failure to receive messages.
- Self-Financed: Candidates are responsible for their own expenses related to the written test/interview.
- Correspondence: No written correspondence will be sent to candidates regarding the recruitment process. Candidates are advised to visit the AMU website ahmedabadcity.gov.in for information regarding the recruitment process.
- Written Examination: The written/online examination may be conducted in multiple sessions or with different sets of questions if necessary. Disputes regarding this will not be entertained.
- Appointment Conditions: The appointment of the selected candidate will be subject to conditions determined by the competent authority.
- False Information: If any details provided by the candidate are found to be incorrect or suspicious at any stage of the recruitment process, the application will be canceled. Appropriate legal action will be taken, and the appointment may be canceled if already made.
