Position Overview:

The Uttar Pradesh University of Medical Sciences (UPUMS), Saifai, Etawah, is inviting online applications from eligible Indian citizens for the recruitment of various Group ‘C’ posts through a Computer-Based Examination (CBT) in 2024. Among the available positions is the role of Pharmacist Grade-2.

Position Details:

• Job Title: Pharmacist Grade-2
• Number of Vacancies: 10 (Unreserved: 04, OBC: 03, SC: 02, EWS: 01)
• Pay Scale: Pay Matrix Rs. 29,200 – 92,300, Level-5
• Age Limit: 18-40 years as of July 1, 2024

Qualifications and Experience:

• Educational Requirements:
  • B.Pharm from a PCI-approved college/institute. OR
  • D.Pharm with registration as a pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act, 1948, along with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospital with at least 50 beds.

Selection Process:

• Shortlisted candidates will be required to undergo a skill assessment, with three candidates selected per vacancy. Note that the skill test is only qualifying in nature, and the final selection will be based solely on the marks obtained in the Computer-Based Examination by those who pass the skill test.

General Conditions:

1. Applicants must meet the eligibility criteria in all respects, including educational qualifications and age limits.
2. A non-refundable application fee is required:
   • UR/OBC/EWS: Rs. 2360 (Application Fee: Rs. 2000 + GST: Rs. 360)
   • SC/ST: Rs. 1416 (Application Fee: Rs. 1200 + GST: Rs. 216)
3. Separate applications and fees must be submitted for each post applied for.
4. The University reserves the right to modify the number of vacancies or the examination schedule as needed.
