Job Title: Pharmacist (Trainee) in T&S Gr. C
Number of Vacancies: 13

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Educational Qualification: Candidates must be matriculate and hold a Diploma in Pharmacy. Additionally, they must be registered with the Pharmacy Council under the Pharmacy Act, 1948, with valid registration.
  • Selection Process: Candidates will be selected through an Aptitude Test. The test will be objective in nature, with a duration of 90 minutes, comprising 100 questions. The total marks for the test will be 100, with a minimum passing score of 50 marks for General category candidates and 40 marks for SC/ST candidates (with a 10% relaxation).

Selection Norms:

  1. Empanelment Process: Candidates will be shortlisted based on their performance in the Aptitude Test. In case of a tie, the date of appointment will be considered, with preference given to the candidate appointed earlier. If the tie persists, the older candidate, based on Date of Birth, will be given preference.
  2. Training Period Consideration: Candidates who are newly appointed as dependents/PAP and have not completed their six-month training period by the date of notification will not be considered for this selection process.
  3. Reservation Norms: SC/ST and PWD candidates will be considered as per the prevailing reservation policies.

Instructions for Application Submission:

  1. Eligibility Check: Candidates must thoroughly read the notification and ensure they meet the eligibility criteria before applying.
  2. Application Format: Applications should be submitted in the prescribed proforma, with a recent photograph attested by the controlling officer/unit-in-charge. Self-attested copies of educational and statutory certificates should also be included.
  3. Application Verification: The controlling officer/unit in-charge must verify and countersign the application and attached documents. The application should then be forwarded to the respective Area Personnel Manager (APM) for further processing.
  4. Performance Ratings: Only candidates with a minimum ‘Good’ rating in their Annual Performance will be considered.
  5. Application Submission: The completed and verified applications must be physically sent to GM(P/IR). For candidates from WCL HQ, applications should be forwarded to Dy. GM (P/IR). Additionally, data in Excel format must be submitted via email to gmir1.wcl@coalindia.in.
  6. Application Format Compliance: Applications not submitted in the prescribed format or received directly from candidates will not be entertained.
