Profile Summary

• Sourcing of APIs and Excipients for all New Projects of F&D for Global markets
• Providing end-to-end support to all F&D projects from development to launch
• Ensuring supply continuity through Alternate Vendor Development for key launch projects
• Managing commercial activity related to new product launches

Role and Responsibilities

1. Time-bound identification of potential sources and selection of the final source based on laid-down procedures
2. Time-bound support for all projects under development, including sample procurement, document handling, agreement negotiations, and deliveries
3. Strong focus on cost-effectiveness and value in decision-making
4. Generating and analyzing daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports, dashboards, and presentations
5. Active participation in cross-functional meetings and initiatives
6. Ensuring CQA clearance of vendors and products by coordinating site audits
7. Finalizing agreements such as CDA, Technical Agreement, and Supply Agreement
8. Managing PR-PO conversion and ensuring on-time delivery of Development, Exhibit, and Launch quantities as per project timelines
9. Technical expertise to handle analytical and regulatory queries

Candidate Profile

Candidates should hold a B.Pharm, M.Sc., MBA, or M.Pharm degree with 5-7 years of relevant work experience in sourcing or commercial procurement. Responsibilities include sourcing APIs and excipients for new F&D projects in global markets, end-to-end project support, alternate vendor development, commercial activities for new product launches, MIS reporting, cross-functional collaboration, vendor and product clearance, agreement finalization, PR-PO conversion, and handling analytical and regulatory queries.

Candidates must be proficient in SAP, MIS, MS Excel, and PPT, and possess strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.

Additional Information

• Experience Required at Zydus Lifesciences: 5 to 7 years of relevant work experience in Sourcing and/or Commercial Procurement
• Qualification Required at Zydus Lifesciences: B.Pharm or MSC
• Desirable: MBA or M.Pharm.
