Job Description:

The Center for Infectious Disease Diagnostics & Innovation (CIDDI) is seeking a dynamic and dedicated scientist to become part of our team. This is your chance to receive mentorship and advance your career while contributing to cutting-edge genomic diagnostic initiatives in infectious diseases. Our collaborative projects span across academic institutions, both domestic and international, as well as industry partners.

Candidate Profile:

All research backgrounds are welcome, with a preference for experience in molecular biology, genetics, cell biology, computational biology, or related research fields. Proficiency in RNA/DNA sequencing, microarray analysis, multiplex PCR, epigenetics, or other ‘omics’ platforms is a valuable asset.

Qualifications Required at Duke University:

Candidates must possess a PhD or equivalent doctorate and a bachelor’s degree in biology or a closely related scientific field. Proof of degree equivalency may be required for candidates with non-US degrees. This position is exclusively open to individuals with the specified research experience and advanced degree as mentioned. Renewals are subject to available funding.
