Vacancies: There are two vacancies for the position of Scientist-F.

Food & Nutrition
Economics with specialization in Health Economics

Genetics/Medical Genetics

Pharmacology

Additionally, candidates with a PhD in Mathematics, Physics/Biophysics, Computer Science, Data Science, or Computer Engineering are also eligible.

Essential Experience: Candidates should have a minimum of 12 years of experience in Research and Development (R&D), which includes at least 3 years of managerial experience. The experience should also include work in Disease Modelling and forecasting in Government/Public sector/Private Institutions.

Note on Experience:

A PhD will be considered as 4 years of experience, regardless of the duration taken to complete the degree.
MD/MS or equivalent will be considered as 3 years of experience.
MVSc will be considered as 2 years of experience.
MPH/M.Tech/ME will not be considered as any experience.

Age Limit: The upper age limit for applicants is 52 years. There might be age relaxation as per Government of India (GOI) instructions.

Application Fee: Candidates are required to pay a non-refundable application fee of Rs. 1500/-. However, SC/ST/Women/PwBD/EWS candidates are exempted from paying the application fee.
