TIGS, a dynamic research institute tackling pressing societal challenges, invites applications for the position of Research Assistant in the project: Screening for Novel Mosquito Attractants and Repellents.

Roles and Responsibilities at TIGS:

• Engage in mosquito handling and conduct mosquito behavior assays.

Job Profile:

The selected candidate will work on the project titled “Screening for Novel Mosquito Attractants and Repellents.” Responsibilities include mosquito handling, running behavior assays, and collaboration on sample procurement, mosquito entomological and social surveys, and innovative experimental designs. Candidates should possess strong data recording and communication skills.

Essential Qualifications / Requirements at TIGS:

• Master’s degree in any branch of biological science with relevant research experience.
• Experience with chemical biology, mosquito entomology, and/or mosquito behavior are a plus.

Duration:

Initially for one year, with the possibility of extension based on performance review.
