Position: Principal Medical Writer – Medical Writing Services

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Principal Medical Writer to join our Medical Writing Services team. This role involves creating, reviewing, and editing high-quality documents essential to clinical research. The selected candidate will function as the project lead writer or submission coordinator, working closely with clients and coordinating with multiple writers. The position also entails mentoring junior writers, enhancing internal processes, and supporting the sales team with proposal inputs.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, author, and edit clinical research documents, including protocols, clinical study reports, investigator brochures, informed consent forms, and submission summaries.
• Lead project teams by acting as the primary client contact and managing inputs from multiple contributors.
• Provide technical mentoring, process improvement suggestions, and training to the Medical Writing team.
• Collaborate with the sales team by offering insights for proposals and liaising with clients to understand their needs.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Experience: 10+ years in regulatory medical writing with proficiency in drafting clinical documents.
• Expertise in Therapeutic Areas: Vaccines, immunology, oncology, neurology, autoimmune disorders, cardiovascular diseases, infectious diseases, and more.
• Qualifications: Bachelor’s or advanced degree in life sciences or healthcare, or equivalent education.
• Industry Background: Prior experience in the pharmaceutical or CRO sector is mandatory.
• Skills:
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Leadership qualities with the ability to independently manage projects.
  • Analytical mindset and high attention to detail.
  • Flexible and organized to handle varying workloads effectively.
