Job description:
The job description for the QA/QC Executive role at Alembic Pharmaceuticals Limited involves analyzing various samples, including in-process, intermediates, raw material, packing material, finished products, stability studies, hold time studies, process validation, cleaning samples, and vendor development. The analysis must be performed as per valid procedures and using calibrated instruments/standards.
The role also involves ensuring analysis is performed in compliance with GLP and that raw data is documented online. Daily analysis reports must be initiated, completed, and filed. Any abnormal results, incidents, deviations, or discrepancies must be reported immediately to the reporting Section Head. All relevant log entries must be made for every activity wherever applicable.
The QA/QC Executive must supervise compliance to all cGMP, GxP, or any other regulatory requirements, including EHS requirements. Any quality concerns or suggestions for improvements must be reported to the Department Head.
The role involves executing and supervising all tasks and activities as per the applicable SOPs and company policy. Safety norms must be maintained while working in the lab, such as wearing goggles, PPE, disposal of sample/media as per procedure, etc. The QA/QC Executive must ensure self-discipline with respect to wearing aprons, attendance, personnel hygiene, and interrelations.
Additionally, the QA/QC Executive must perform Labware LIMS-related activities and complete any other assignments given by the Section Head or Department Head.
