Post: Group Product Manager / Sr. Product Manager

Department: Strategic Marketing

Location: Mumbai

Reporting to: CMO

Qualifications:

  • Graduate/Post Graduate in life sciences, i.e. B.Pharm / M.Pharm / B.Sc. (Microbiology, Biology), MBBS, BAMS with additional management qualifications.

Experience:

  • 12-15 years of relevant experience in the field of product management.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  1. Provide clinical placement and marketing direction for new molecules/conceptual product launches, including life cycle management, formulation concepts, branding, packaging, and communication strategies for innovative products.
  2. Execute creative and editorial direction for assigned brands/segments/projects based on the above concepts.
  3. Identify opportunities and develop a complete product development portfolio for long-range planning, including identifying and evaluating the latest molecules for selection/rejection of innovative and pioneering formulation concepts, packaging, etc.
  4. Conduct insight transfer and strategy articulation sessions with marketing teams for existing and new products, as well as other projects.

Prerequisites:

  1. Graduate/Post Graduate in life sciences, i.e. B.Pharm / M.Pharm / B.Sc. (Microbiology, Biology), MBBS, BAMS with additional management qualifications.
  2. 8-10 years of relevant experience in the field of product management.
  3. Strong interest in scientific and medical details, creativity, and a knack for data analysis and interpretation, along with sound decision-making abilities.
  4. Solid knowledge of the products and markets dealt with in prior assignments.
  5. Leadership qualities with a high level of creativity and strategic thinking.
  6. Visionary outlook with strong business acumen.
  7. Ability to treat assigned work with a high degree of confidentiality.
