Role Overview

Amgen India is seeking an experienced Quality Director to support its mission of delivering high-quality, patient-focused solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading quality operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and driving technological advancements in Quality systems. This role requires a strategic leader with expertise in Quality Management Systems, digital transformation, and regulatory readiness.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Quality Management

• Define and implement a multi-year Quality technological roadmap aligned with Amgen’s global strategy.
• Foster a culture of execution excellence and continuous improvement in Quality operations.
• Ensure compliance with global regulatory requirements (GxP) and maintain inspection readiness.
• Collaborate with local and global teams to drive Quality initiatives and align with Amgen’s mission.

Technology & Digital Transformation

• Lead the integration of emerging technologies (e.g., AI, automation) into Quality systems.
• Act as a key Quality point of contact for digital transformation and technological innovation.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to establish core digital capabilities in Amgen India.

People Management & Talent Development

• Attract, recruit, and develop top talent to build a high-performing Quality team.
• Foster a culture of mentorship, diversity, and inclusion within the organization.
• Provide leadership and guidance to ensure the team aligns with Amgen’s corporate goals.

Candidate Profile

Basic Qualifications

• Doctorate degree with 4+ years of experience in Quality leadership roles, OR
• Master’s degree with 14-16 years of experience in Quality and emerging technologies, OR
• Bachelor’s degree with 16-18 years of experience in Quality and digital transformation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong background in pharmaceutical Quality systems and regulatory compliance.
• Experience leading teams and managing large-scale Quality initiatives.
• Advanced knowledge of digital transformation technologies (AI, automation) in Quality operations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and change management skills.
• Proven ability to translate business needs into efficient, scalable Quality processes.
• Passion for mentoring, team development, and fostering a collaborative work environment.
