Field Monitor (01) Position Available in Tamil Nadu

Project Name: Diet and Biomarkers Survey in India

Emoluments: Rs. 30,000 per month (Consolidated)

Age Limit: Up to 35 years

Employment Type: Contractual

Duration: 03 months (with the possibility of extension based on project requirements)

Minimum Educational Qualification and Experience:

  • Essential:
    • Master’s degree in pharmacy, public health, life sciences, or related discipline from a recognized university with one-year experience in Research/Monitoring/Public Health projects.
    • OR Graduate in pharmacy, public health, life sciences, or related discipline from a recognized university with two years’ experience in Research/Monitoring/Public Health projects.
  • Desirable:
    • Candidates with prior work experience in Research/Monitoring/Public Health projects preferred.
    • Proficiency in MS Office (Word & Excel) is desirable.

Professional Skills Required:

  • Understanding of monitoring activities supported by CDSA-THSTI.
  • Basic knowledge and ability to conduct clinical lab-related monitoring.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English and local language.
  • Fair negotiation and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective time management skills and ability to manage field-based activities.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with field teams and concurrent monitoring teams.

Job Profile:

  • Extensive travel in urban and rural areas of Tamil Nadu.
  • Monitoring specified primary sampling units (PSUs) as per project requirements.
  • Conducting site visits to monitor sample collection, processing, and packaging.
  • Ensuring adherence to study protocols and SOPs during monitoring activities.
  • Documenting monitoring observations and maintaining appropriate documentation.
