Post: Assistant Manager – Quality Assurance

Job Description:

  • Ensure comprehensive quality management within the manufacturing plant.
  • Lead investigations for Quality Control laboratory Out of Specification (OOS) incidents.
  • Conduct food safety training for all stakeholders.
  • Effectively manage and address market complaints.
  • Ensure plant certification and compliance with standards such as FSSC 22000, HACCP, HALAL, KOSHER, GAIN, customer-specific standards, FSSAI, and FDA.
  • Review documentation for finished products, including Batch Manufacturing Records (BMR), Batch Packaging Records (BPR), new product Trial Transfers (TT), reprocessing/reworking requests, raw data, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), HACCP manual, and Site Master File (SMF).
  • Plan and execute Process validation, hold time studies, cleaning validation, Equipment Qualifications, etc.
  • Lead customer/regulatory audits and ensure timely compliance with observations.
  • Conduct internal audits and actively support the closure of audit findings.
  • Certify new products for HALAL, KOSHER, FSSAI, FDA, and FOSCOS registration.
  • Manage deviations and change controls, ensuring timely closures.
  • Conduct supplier and external service provider audits, adhering to requirements.
  • Maintain an approved supplier list for raw and packaging materials.
  • Lead the In-Process Quality Assurance (IPQA) team, showcasing best practices on the shop floor.

Candidate Profile:

  • Qualification

    : B.Sc., M.Sc., B.Pharm, M.Pharm, B.Tech, M.Tech – any Science graduate

  • Experience

    : 7 to 10 Years – Exposure to the Nutrition Industry is a Must.
