Job Post: Analyst (Commercial Excellence)

Job Description:

As an Analyst, you will be responsible for advanced analytical tasks related to commercial activities, utilizing your strong qualitative and quantitative skills. This role involves handling diverse datasets, including IQVIA Market/Sales/Promotional Data and Internal Company Sales Data, as well as exposure to sales force-related metrics. Your key responsibilities include developing complex reports in Excel/PowerPoint, project management, and ensuring superior stakeholder engagement through insight-driven projects.


  • Project Management: Manage projects end-to-end and work on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Analysis Tools Development: Create custom analysis tools and dashboards using applications like Advanced Excel, VBA, PowerPoint, and Power BI.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct quality checks on reports and analysis, maintaining documentation for high-quality outcomes.
  • Management Presentations: Prepare management presentations and make data-driven recommendations.

Candidate Profile:

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Education: Master’s Degree (preferably in a quantitative/management discipline) from a well-recognized institute. Undergraduate degree in Pharma, Science/Biotechnology, or Engineering is preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in the Pharma industry, with consulting experience as a plus.
  • Market Exposure: Experience in APAC/Far East Markets, preferably in the Japan Market.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong strategic and analytical capabilities to translate business problems into efficient analysis plans, with hands-on experience in commercial effectiveness datasets and metrics.
  • Collaboration: Ability to collaborate with various stakeholders, including vendors, consultants, and project teams.
  • Market Analysis: Experience in analyzing market data, including market composition and competitor performance.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel, VBA, PowerPoint, and SAP knowledge is desirable. Power BI knowledge is a plus.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and present to senior management confidently.
  • Ownership: Self-motivated and capable of taking ownership of initiatives with minimal supervision.
  • Strategic Thinking: Strong conceptual, analytical, and tactical thinking, with a strategic thought process.
