Geographic Location: Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India

Qualification, Experience & Exposure:

  • Any Science graduate or Pharma graduate with PGD in Packaging Technology / MBA in Materials Management
  • 10 years & above experience
  • Competitive CTC: Best in Industry

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Overall Responsibilities:
    • Overseeing Packaging Development for EU, ROW & Domestic Markets.
  2. Vendor Management:
    • Evaluation and development of Packaging Material Vendors.
  3. Assessment and Expansion:
    • Assessing High-Speed lines for future volumes and expansion.
  4. Validation Activities:
    • Conducting Packaging Validation activities to enhance operational efficiency.
  5. Innovation and Technology:
    • Introducing value addition through New Technology and Innovative Designs in packaging.
  6. Quality Assurance:
    • Investigating market complaints and implementing Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
  7. Change Part Evaluation:
    • Evaluating and developing change parts for stability & commercial batches.
  8. Procurement Management:
    • Procuring indigenous raw materials, packing material, including vendor negotiation.
  9. Compliance:
    • Ensuring compliance to quality, safety & environmental standards as per cGMP & ISO.
  10. Planning and Budgeting:
    • Planning, budgeting, and setting policy guidelines for purchase of raw materials/packing materials to meet production plans.
  11. Collaboration:
    • Working closely with QA & QC to maintain a constant supply of quality packaging materials.
  12. Artwork Management:
    • Managing the artwork process & print proof approval for various dosage forms.
  13. Supply Chain Optimization:
    • Implementing latest strategies and processes for achieving an uninterrupted supply chain at the best price and for the best quality.
  14. Cost Reduction Initiatives:
    • Reducing costs through the development of alternate suppliers and materials.
  15. Regulatory Compliance:
    • Ensuring proper compliance with the Central Excise Act and Rules.
  16. Market Analysis:
    • Tracking new technologies & trends in the domestic & global arena.
