Position Overview

We are seeking qualified and dedicated Pharmacists (02 Posts) to join the National Tuberculosis Eradication Programme under the National Health Mission on a purely contractual and honorarium basis. This role is based at the Mumbai District Tuberculosis Control Institute and aims to support critical healthcare delivery under the municipal framework.

Essential Qualifications

• Educational: Degree/Diploma in Pharmacy from a recognized university.

• Desirable:

  • Minimum 1-year experience in managing drug stores in a reputed hospital/health centre recognized by the Government.

  • Proficiency in computer applications including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and basic statistical software.

Additional Eligibility Criteria

• Age Consideration:

  • Must be within the age limit as of 25/04/2025.

  • Candidates above 60 years must submit a physical and mental fitness certificate from a District Surgeon.

• Computer Literacy:

  • Possession of an MSCIT certificate or a certificate course in computer operation (minimum two months).

• Experience Documentation:

  • Only post-qualification government/semi-government experience will be considered.

  • Experience certificates must clearly state the joining and relieving dates.

• Small Family Norm Compliance:

  • Candidates must not have more than two surviving children after 23/07/2020.

  • A certificate of compliance must be submitted at the time of the interview.
