Are you an experienced Project Manager looking for a dynamic opportunity in the pharmaceutical industry? We are currently seeking candidates for the position of Deputy Manager / Associate Manager for our Project Management team within the Formulation R&D department at our state-of-the-art Pharmaceutical Technology Centre in Ahmedabad.

Job Description:

  1. End-to-End Execution: Manage the entire Generic Product Development Cycle, coordinating with cross-functional teams (CFTs) within R&D and other stakeholders to ensure timely exhibit batch schedules and regulatory dossier compilation.
  2. Feasibility Assessments: Conduct thorough assessments for proposed projects, considering technical, financial, and operational factors, and collaborate with stakeholders to determine project feasibility.
  3. Scope Definition: Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in consultation with stakeholders, ensuring alignment with organizational strategies.
  4. Budget Management: Develop detailed project budgets and monitor expenditures to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.
  5. Timeline Development: Create project timelines, identify critical milestones, and monitor progress against timelines, implementing adjustments as needed for on-time delivery.
  6. Project Management Software: Utilize project management software to streamline workflows, enhance collaboration, and drive project success.
  7. Reporting: Provide regular project updates and reports to BU head, highlighting progress, issues, and resolutions.
  8. Risk Management: Conduct risk assessments, develop mitigation strategies, and proactively manage project risks throughout the project lifecycle.
  9. Project Controls: Implement controls to monitor project performance, identify deviations, and take corrective actions to keep the project on track.
  10. Client Collaboration: Coordinate with internal R&D teams and external clients to effectively manage customer-based projects.
  11. Proposal and Contract Management: Coordinate with internal and external teams to ensure timely management of proposals, Statements of Work (SoWs), and contracts for specialized products.

Candidate Profile:

  • Qualifications: M. Pharm in Pharmaceutics / B.Pharm and MBA / PMT certified
  • Experience: 5-8 years in Project Management for Formulation R&D
