Job Description

Responsibilities:

1. Program Execution Leadership:
   • Lead the execution of R&D programs in collaboration with product development, clinical development, and other relevant teams.
   • Accountable for creating, communicating, and executing project plans to ensure timely delivery of program milestones within budget.
2. Communication and Decision-Making:
   • Enable, identify, record, and communicate program decisions, issues, risks, mitigation plans, budget updates, and other key aspects in a timely and effective manner.
   • Ensure effective communication to meet program objectives.
3. Reporting Structure:
   • Reports to Head – Program & Project Management (Product Delivery).
   • Works in a matrix structure with various functions like development, quality, etc., to execute projects/programs aligned with the overall product strategy.

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Management and Execution:
   • Manage and execute one or more R&D programs and projects.
   • Create program/project plans, ensure adherence to schedules, monitor budget spends, and execute project tasks promptly.
2. Team Leadership:
   • Lead project teams, define project scope and goals, and control the project scope.
   • Interact with all functions, ensuring continuous and accurate communication across teams and stakeholders.
3. Risk Management:
   • Identify and communicate project issues and risks.
   • Develop a project risk plan and manage risk mitigation strategies.
4. Conflict Resolution:
   • Provide win-win solutions to potential conflict situations.
   • Lead review meetings and provide updates and reports as required.

Candidate Profile

• M.Pharma/ MS / MBA or bachelor’s degree.
• PMI / IPMA certification (Preferable).
• 5-7 years of successful R&D program/project management experience.

Requirements

• Expertise in managing R&D Projects/Programs.
• Knowledge of project management concepts.
• Proficient in using tools like MS-Projects, Plan View, etc.
• Knowledge of Biologics development process, CMC, Clinical, Manufacturing, and Regulatory domains. Understanding of product portfolio selection processes.
• Effective communication skills through various tools.
• Expert in managing cross-functional teams in a matrix environment.
• Demonstrates ASPIRE* behaviors, leadership, and possesses good interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated and capable of solving problems through analytical skills, experience, and innovative solutions.
• Flexibility to travel if needed.
