The Shobhaben Pratapbhai Patel School of Pharmacy & Technology Management (SPPSPTM) was established in 2006 with a clear vision: to contribute meaningfully to the healthcare system of our country. At SPPSPTM, our courses are meticulously designed to cater to the evolving needs of the burgeoning pharmaceutical industry. These programs undergo regular review, a process conducted in consultation with our esteemed Board of Studies. This board comprises individuals from various sectors including the Pharma Industry, Research, FDA, and top academics from across India.
Over the years, SPPSPTM has emerged as a frontrunner in pharmaceutical education and research. This success has been driven by the active participation of our students in diverse activities, bolstered by our highly qualified and motivated faculty, and supported by state-of-the-art infrastructure.
Our student body is selected through a rigorous process from a national pool of applicants who meet the University’s stringent entrance requirements. This ensures that our classrooms are populated with the brightest minds, eager to contribute to the future of the pharmaceutical landscape.
Professor
Essential:
- Ph.D. in relevant discipline from a reputed institution.
- First Class B.Pharm with a Master’s degree in Pharmaceutical Regulatory Affairs / Pharmaceutics.
- Registration as a pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act, 1948.
- Minimum of 10 SCI Publications in refereed journals.
- Minimum Research Score of 120.
- Successfully guided at least 2 doctoral candidates.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in PCI approved/recognized Pharmacy college or research, industry, and/or profession with 5 years as Associate Professor.
- Experience in handling research projects funded by national/international agencies.
- Capacity to undertake R&D projects from industry, consultancy assignments.
Desirable:
- Published work of high quality, actively engaged in research with evidence of published work in Scopus/WOS indexed or UGC care listed Journals.
- Recipient of Post-Doctoral fellowship.
Associate Professor
Essential:
- Ph.D. in relevant discipline from a reputed institution.
- First Class B.Pharm with a Master’s degree in Pharmaceutical Regulatory Affairs / Pharmaceutics.
- Registration as a pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act, 1948.
- Minimum of 07 SCI Publications in refereed journals.
- Minimum 8 years experience in teaching at PCI approved institute and/or research, with at least 03 years as an Assistant Professor or equivalent grade.
- Minimum Research Score of 75.
- Experience of guiding PG and PhD students.
- Experience in handling research projects funded by national/international agencies.
- Capacity to undertake R&D projects from industry, consultancy assignments.
Desirable:
- Recipient of Post-Doctoral fellowship.
Assistant Professor
Essential:
- M. Pharm in relevant discipline from a reputed institution.
- First Class Bachelor’s with Master’s Degree in Pharmacy from an institute approved by PCI.
- Registration as a pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act, 1948.
- Minimum of 02 SCI Publications in refereed journals.
Desirable:
- Ph.D. preferred.
- Two years experience in teaching in PCI approved/recognized pharmacy college, research industrial, and/or professional experience in a reputed organization.
- Papers presented at Conferences and/or in referred journals.
