About Lupin

Lupin was founded in 1968 by Desh Bandhu Gupta, who was a professor of chemistry at BITS-Pilani, Rajasthan. Gupta moved to  Mumbai in the 60s to work on his business enterprise for which initially he had borrowed Rs 5000 from his wife to fund his venture. Subsequent funding from Central Bank of India, the company was able to start their manufacturing facility for producing folic acid and iron tablets for Government of India mother and child health program. Later Lupin started manufacturing anti TB drugs which at one point formed 36% of the company sales and was considered as the largest TB drugs manufacturer in the world.

Production (API) Department

Qualification: B.Sc. / M.Sc. (Chemistry), Diploma / B.E. (Chemical)
Experience: 2 to 10 years

Job Description:

  1. Online filling of the BPRs and records, performing tasks related to SAP
  2. Operate equipment like reactors, Sparkler Filter, Candle Filters, Centrifuge, Dryers as per SOP

Quality Control (API / FML)

Post: Associate / Jr. Officer / Officer / Executive
Qualification: B.Sc. / M.Sc. (Chemistry), B. Pharma
Experience: 2 to 10 years

Job Description:

  1. Hands-on experience with HPLC, GC, KF, IR, UV, etc.
  2. Handling and troubleshooting of lab instruments
  3. Experience with QC software such as Tiamo 3.0, LIMS, QAMS, SAP, Chromeleon 7.3
  4. Knowledge of cGMP, ALCO+ & various regulatory requirements
  5. Maintenance and calibration of QC instruments
  6. Strong knowledge of OSD, dry suspension formulation

Quality Assurance (API / FML)

Post: Associate / Jr. Officer / Officer / Executive
Qualification: B.Sc. / M.Sc. (Chemistry), B. Pharma
Experience: 2 to 10 years

Job Description:

  1. Review of BPR, batch cleaning records, test data sheets, and sampling of API finished goods
  2. Preparation of APQR
  3. Handling QMS documents (Change control, Deviation, CAPA, OOS, OOT) review
  4. Response preparation for customer queries & questionnaires
  5. Review of qualification & validation documents, investigation reports, QRM, etc.

Engineering – Instrumentation (OSD/API)

Post: Associate / Jr. Officer / Officer / Executive
Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B. Tech (Instrumentation)
Experience: 2 to 10 years

Job Description:
API:

  1. Experience in SCADA upgradation as per 21 CFR part 11
  2. Knowledge of CSV and equipment qualification
  3. Handling software for deviation & investigation for root cause analysis
  4. PLC and SCADA programming expertise
  5. Proficiency in SQL database software
  6. Troubleshooting SCADA systems

OSD:

  1. Experience with OSD process equipment manufacturing
  2. Maintenance of packing equipment like FBP, RMG, bulk packing machines, blister packing
  3. Handling SCADA & PLC operated machines, including validation
  4. Familiarity with SAP maintenance module
  5. Equipment qualification experience for process OSD
