Key Responsibilities

As a Medical Information Specialist, you will:

• Respond to unsolicited requests for medical and safety information via phone, email, web, or scientific meetings.

• Provide labeled/unlabeled information aligned with regulations, client policies, and industry standards.

• Document and report adverse events, product complaints, pregnancy cases, and special situations as per SOPs and regulatory requirements.

• Formulate scientifically accurate responses using product labeling, company data, and published literature.

• Log all inquiries accurately into inquiry handling systems.

• Contribute to quality assurance by reviewing inquiry documentation and safety reports.

• Participate in after-hours coverage on a rotational basis.

• Comply with privacy, confidentiality, and health & safety policies.

Qualifications Required

• Degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or Nursing (B.Pharm, M.Pharm, Pharm.D, B.Sc, M.Sc, RN/BS/BA/MS).

• Strong command of English (written and verbal).

• Solid knowledge of medical terminology, pharmacology, and pathophysiology.

• Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and adaptability to new inquiry systems.
