Medical Coding requires converting verbal descriptions into numerical or alphanumeric codes using ICD 10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS. It is a requirement in healthcare as per HIPAA rules.

A Medical Coder should have knowledge in anatomy and physiology, good communication skills, and basic computer skills.

The eligible candidates for this role include individuals with a background in Nursing, GNM/DGNM, Life Science graduates, Pharmacy, Optometrist, Physician Assistant, Bio Medical Engineering, Bio Chemistry, Bio Technology, Bio Informatics, Micro Biology, Zoology, Biology, Botany, Plant Biotechnology, Genetics, Food and Nutrition, Paramedical, Physiotherapy, Operation Theatre, Anesthesia Technician, and Dentist.

Salary & Benefits:

The salary range is from 14,000 to 18,000 per month for freshers and up to 50,000 per month for experienced candidates, with a 4,000 fixed hike after six months. Other benefits include a weekend off, day shift only, and a pick-up and drop cab provided.
