IMAPAC is seeking an industry research analyst to work on its reports and an analytics dashboard as it now offers market intelligence services for the biopharma market.
Roles and responsibilities:
- Design and implement data collection methods: The job involves developing effective ways to gather data, such as surveys, focus groups, questionnaires, and opinion polls. This may require selecting appropriate samples, designing and testing survey questions, and creating data collection protocols.
- Conduct primary and secondary research: The position involves conducting both primary and secondary research in the biopharmaceutical industry. This may involve analyzing data from existing sources such as government reports, industry publications, and academic research, as well as conducting interviews with industry experts.
- Analyze statistical data: The job requires compiling and analyzing statistical data using modern and traditional methods to collect it. This may involve using tools such as Excel or statistical software to analyze data sets and identify patterns and trends.
- Consult and advise clients: The position requires understanding client business objectives and designing surveys to discover prospective customers’ preferences. The job involves performing qualitative and quantitative research and consultation on relative markets, presenting findings to executives and clients, and making recommendations to help inform product introductions, modifications, and marketing campaigns.
- Monitor industry and related markets: The job requires keeping up-to-date knowledge of the industry and related markets being researched. This may involve attending conferences, networking with industry experts, and regularly reading industry publications.
- Communicate with stakeholders: The job involves communicating with business leaders, financial officers, and market representatives to gather data and present findings. This may require strong written and oral communication skills and the ability to create visual representations of data to help stakeholders make informed decisions.
- Measure marketing effectiveness: The job requires measuring the effectiveness of marketing programs and strategies. This may involve developing metrics to assess the success of marketing campaigns and presenting findings to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with data providers: The job may require contacting companies and agencies who can provide useful data, building relationships with external data providers and vendors, and negotiating contracts.
- Provide training and mentorship: The job may involve training and mentoring junior staff members to help them develop the skills necessary to conduct research, analyze data, and present findings effectively. Requirements:
- Educational background: A good degree holder in Life Sciences/Statistics/Economics or an individual with a strong interest in market research is preferred.
- Teamwork: The position requires the ability to work effectively in a small team environment.
- Communication skills: Excellent written and verbal English communication skills are required to effectively communicate research findings to clients and stakeholders.
- Attention to detail: The position requires precise attention to detail, with a focus on producing the highest standards of work.
- Market research experience: Proven market research analysis experience is preferred, with experience in designing and implementing data collection methods, analyzing data, and presenting findings.
- Analytical and critical thinking: Strong analytical and critical thinking skills are necessary to effectively analyze data and identify patterns and trends.
- Project management: The position requires the ability to manage deadlines and ensure the quality of projects.
- Positive attitude: A positive attitude, cheerful and confident personality are necessary to effectively communicate research findings and work collaboratively with clients and stakeholders.
- Language proficiency: Proficiency in a language of the regional market will be an advantage.
- Data visualization tools: Proficiency in Power BI, Tableau, or other data visualization tools will be an advantage.

Job Type and Salary: The job is a full-time position with a monthly salary range of ₹49,000.00 – ₹92,600.00. Benefits: The benefits include a flexible schedule and the ability to work from home.
