Job Title: Scientific Business Manager

Cipla, a leading pharmaceutical company, is currently seeking experienced and dedicated individuals to join our team as Scientific Business Managers in multiple locations. We are looking for candidates with a strong background in pharmaceutical sales, specifically in the Rheumatology, Dermatology, Gastroenterology, or Orthopaedic segments. The positions available are in Mumbai, Pune, and Nagpur.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic business plans to achieve sales targets and objectives in the assigned therapeutic segments.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key healthcare professionals, including doctors, specialists, and key opinion leaders.
  • Provide scientific knowledge and expertise to healthcare professionals, ensuring they have a comprehensive understanding of our products and their benefits.
  • Stay up to date with the latest scientific advancements, clinical studies, and market trends in the assigned therapeutic segments.
  • Conduct regular market analysis and competitor research to identify new business opportunities and market trends.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, medical affairs, and regulatory, to ensure effective execution of sales strategies.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales, specifically in the Rheumatology, Dermatology, Gastroenterology, or Orthopaedic segments.
  • Strong geographical knowledge and exposure to the respective city (Mumbai, Pune, or Nagpur).
  • Willingness to travel extensively to meet healthcare professionals and attend conferences, meetings, and other relevant events.
  • A science graduate degree is preferred, as it will provide a solid foundation in understanding and communicating scientific information.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex scientific concepts to healthcare professionals.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to analyze market trends and competitor activities.
  • Self-motivated, result-oriented, and capable of working independently as well as part of a team.
